Week 4- Celebrations

Dear Parents and Carers,
I hope you have all recovered from a wonderful school concert! The excitement of the event may have settled a little, but the celebrations don’t stop there. In less than four weeks, we will be holding our 50-Year Celebration, and planning is already in full swing.
If you’ve been following the event on social media, you may spot a few familiar staff members—including myself—in some past photos. If you know a former student, it might be worth taking a closer look! Be sure to put the date in your calendar: Wednesday, 26th November, 5:00–7:00 pm. It promises to be a fantastic evening.
I have also just received a thick envelope containing nearly 50 Premier’s Reading Challenge Certificates. This was a wonderful opportunity to reflect on how many of our students are reading regularly. With so many certificates, we will be presenting them in groups over several weeks at assembly.
A reminder that Monday is a pupil-free day, allowing staff time to analyse testing data and prepare end-of-year reports. The end of the year is approaching quickly, which signals that the summer break is not far off.
Wishing you all a wonderful long weekend.
Shaun Bacon
