COMMUNITY CONNECTION
As we enter this busy time of year, we want to emphasise the importance of safety during pick-up and drop-off times. Please discuss with your children the necessity of using our school crossings at all times to ensure everyone's safety. Additionally, the staff car park should not be used by families for pick-up and drop-off unless you have communicated with me in advance. Thank you for your cooperation.
Wearing Helmets on Bikes/ Scooters
I would like to also address an important safety issue for our community. If your child is riding a bike or scooter to school, please make sure they wear a helmet to ensure their safety. If a child does not have a helmet, staff members will instruct them to walk their bike or scooter home for safety reasons. Thank you for your cooperation in ensuring the safety of our students.
As we head towards the end of Term 2, we are excited to announce a whole-school Dojo Challenge!
Students can earn Dojo points by demonstrating our school values of Be Kind, Be Brilliant, Be Curious, and Bring Joy while playing and interacting in the school yard. Our goal is to reach 200 Dojo points as a school by the end of Week 9.
If we achieve our goal, we will celebrate on Friday 26th June (the last day of school) with a special Movie and Favourite Character Dress-Up Day! Students are encouraged to come dressed as their favourite book, movie, television or game character and enjoy a movie with their class. To make the day even more special, every student will receive popcorn to enjoy during the movie.
We encourage all students to continue showing our school values every day. We can't wait to see how many Dojo points we can earn together!
