NAIDOC WEEK

This week, we were able to celebrate NAIDOC Week. NAIDOC Week (National Aboriginal and Islanders Day Observance Committee) occurs annually in July, and celebrates the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. It is an opportunity to celebrate the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples together and the connection it has to our House system.

As you all know, our House system is deeply connected to first Nations people, with our names, mascots and history aligned.

A huge thank you to our Year 9 and Year 10 student helpers who volunteered at Friday's sausage sizzle! Thanks to your hard work and enthusiasm, we were able to serve many students and staff across our school community.

We greatly appreciate your willingness to give up your time and assist during the busy lunch rush. Your support and positive attitude helped make the event a great success. Well done!
