Welcome to Term 3!

I hope you all had a relaxing and enjoyable break and are feeling refreshed for the start of Term 3.

Welcome to the sixth edition of our Middle School Bulletin. This term is filled with a number of important events and opportunities for our Year 9 and Year 10 students, so we encourage all families to take the time to read through the bulletin and note the key dates.

Throughout Term 3, we will also be placing a strong emphasis on maintaining consistent expectations across all Year 9 and Year 10 classrooms. By working together to reinforce these expectations, we can continue to create a positive, respectful, and supportive learning environment where all students can succeed.

Changes to the Year 9 and 10 Team

Towards the end of Semester 2, Neil McMorran commenced a new role at Melba College. We would like to congratulate Neil on his appointment as Assistant Principal – Wellbeing and Engagement. In this role, Neil will continue to support our Year 9 and Year 10 students while also leading wellbeing and engagement initiatives across the entire school.

We would also like to welcome our new Year Level Leaders. Caleb Sinn has joined the Middle School team as the Year 9 Year Level Leader, and Lucas Trofimiuk has taken on the role of Year 10 Year Level Leader. We are excited to have Caleb and Lucas supporting our students and families and look forward to the positive impact they will have throughout the year.
