Year 10 Course Counselling

On Wednesday 22 July, all Year 10 students will participate in Course Counselling to plan their subjects and pathways for 2027. As a result, no Year 10 classes will be running on this day.

It is expected that all Year 10 students attend their scheduled Course Counselling appointment. We strongly encourage parents and carers to attend with their child; however, if this is not possible, students should still book an appointment and attend independently.

Students Entering VCE in 2027

For students planning to undertake VCE, Course Counselling provides an opportunity to review subject selections and ensure they align with their chosen pathway. Staff will also check for any subject clashes and make any necessary timetable adjustments.

Students Entering VCE Vocational Major (VM) in 2027

For students entering the VCE Vocational Major (VM), Course Counselling is an important opportunity to finalise enrolment in their VET course. All VM students are required to have a preferred VET course selected and complete the necessary enrolment paperwork to maximise their chances of receiving their first preference.

How to book a conference time

To book your course counselling time, log into compass and click on Book Parent Student Teacher Conference. You will then see Course Counselling 2027.

Students who do not attend their Course Counselling appointment may miss out on their preferred subjects or VET course placements, so attendance is strongly encouraged.

If you cannot book in, place contact Sophie Williamson for assistance.
