RACING VICTORIA'S RACEDAY TOURS

Murray Mallee LLEN is partnering with Racing Victoria to offer this incredible opportunity for your students to be involved in Racing Victoria’s Raceday Tours at the Swan Hill Race Day on the 28th of July 2026 from 12pm - 3pm.

The industry immersion day is designed to provide students with a unique behind-the-scenes insight into the thoroughbred racing industry and the many career pathways available both on and off the track.

The tour gives students the opportunity to:

Experience a live raceday environment.
Learn about the wide range of careers within the racing industry.
Meet and engage with industry professionals including trainers, stable staff, racing officials, veterinarians, media personnel and support staff.
Gain a deeper understanding of the skills, dedication and care involved in the industry.
Explore future pathways into racing, including training opportunities and employment.

For many students, the experience serves as a valuable first step toward a future career in racing. Some participants may already be involved in the industry through casual stable work, while others attend to explore how they can get started.

Importantly, the tours also provide an opportunity for students with little or no previous exposure to racing to develop a broader understanding of the industry through authentic, real-world experiences and conversations with passionate industry participants.

Students often leave with:

Increased awareness of career pathways.
Greater confidence exploring industry opportunities.
A more informed understanding of the racing industry.
Connections that may lead to further training or employment opportunities.

Limited spaces are available: If you have students who are currently studying Animal Studies or Equine that may be interested, please express their interest to secure a spot. This opportunity is also open to all students who may be showing interest in the industry and would like to participate with the Race Day Industry Immersion experience.
