Thank you to Year 12 Managers Mrs Lindy Mathers and Mrs Michelle Nash and Year 11/12 Sub School Manager Ms Michelle Ferry who organised this event.

Staffing appointments

In addition to previous communications, I am pleased to announce the following people have been appointed to teaching positions for the 2026 school year:

  • James Winzar – Legal Studies/Humanities

End of Year Activities program

The school will once again be running an end of year activities program for students in Years 7-9.  The school Award Evening is Monday 15th December at Costa Hall therefore we won’t run any activities on this day.  Organised activities will conclude for students on Wednesday 17th December.  Students in attendance at school on Thursday 18th and Friday 19th December will be supervised by staff members.  Students in attendance at school on Friday 19th December will be dismissed at 1pm.  I encourage you to contact the school if you haven’t received information around the activities week.

Awards Night

In 2025 we will once again be running our Awards Ceremony as an evening event at Costa Hall. This will take place on Monday 15th December beginning at 7pm.  The evening format will allow for more parents who have work commitments during the day to attend.  I look forward to seeing you at this event as we showcase the students and their talent as well as celebrating their successes during the 2025 school year. We will not be running any classes or activities during the day as students are encouraged to attend the Awards Night in place of normal school activities on this day.  Supervision will be provided during the day for students who attend school during the normal school hours.

Intentions for 2026

If students are not returning to Oberon High School in 2026, can families contact the school and speak with one of the Assistant Principals in regard to this.
