Sharing real-life experiences

A year and a half ago Swinburne Senior Secondary College started an alumni program to connect with former students. As part of this, we invite past students back to school to talk to current students about life after Year 12.

The pic above was taken during an all-school assembly in April, where these four alumni shared their different career pathways:

  • James Butler (Class of 2012), Head of Marketing & Product Developer at Memobottle, the manufacturers of those distinctive, flat water bottles.
  • Amelia Pascoe (class of 2016): Enrolled nurse at the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital.
  • Jules Sheldon (class of 2010): 15-year+ career in music, including as a promoter, music facilitator, recording artist, touring musician and life music venue booker
  • Dean Cornish (class of 1996): Field Chief Technology Officer at PTP
