Piglets visit the Junior School

It's not every day that farm animals walk onto the school grounds, so you can imagine the excitement when four little piggies joined Junior School students recently for a 'show and tell' of a different kind.

The baby saddleback piglets are being cared for by SMC parent and friend, Jono Brimfield, who gave students the opportunity to meet the piglets and learn about how to care for piglets from birth to weaning.

Students from Kinder to Year 2 were treated to the visit, squealing with delight as the curious piglets sniffed around their new surroundings, with the smallest in the litter, Enzo, bravely trotting towards the children for a play.
