Student Engagement

Hello,

With the changes happening in classes across the school we felt it was a good opportunity to reengage with Bron Grieve, Community Health Nurse at Dhelkaya Health, in how we can best support our students. You are invited to attend a special session next week.

When: Wednesday 2nd September

Time: 3:30pm

Where: St Mary's School Library

The session will be about the "Superpowers of Caregiving". The focus will be on building a connection with your child. Bron will discuss how you can be a lighthouse for your child, how to identify, build and maintain a connection point and approaching challenging behaviour with curiosity.

We welcome parents, caregivers and students of all year levels to attend.

Our friends at Castlemaine Community House run a "School Can't" parents and carers group on the first Thursday of every month, 4:30pm - 6:30pm.

The school and families have been invited to take part in CASEA (CAMHS and schools early action program) a free evidence based therapeutic early intervention program that can support students and families from our school.
