Ventia Training Interviews 🤝

On Tuesday, our VCE VM students attended GoTAFE Seymour to take part in a training interview. Students were asked to select one of the roles available at Puckapunyal Base and prepare a tailored resume and cover letter for that position. They each met with a Ventia staff member from the relevant department to participate in a mock interview. Prior to each interview, students produced a resume and cover letter relevant to the position description for the role they had applied for.

For some students, this experience was entirely new, while others had participated in similar activities previously. Regardless of their prior experience, the overall student feedback was very positive. The session concluded with a group discussion, allowing students to reflect on their experiences, share insights and discuss key learnings.

We would like to sincerely thank those involved from Ventia and GoTAFE and extend our appreciation to Cynthia from Central Ranges LLEN (Local Learning and Employment Network) for facilitating this valuable experience and helping to create meaningful career development opportunities for our students.
