FRACTIONS AND DECIMALS

This week in Mathematics, the Year 3/4 students have been exploring the connection between fractions and decimals. Through hands-on learning, students have been developing their understanding of how fractions can be represented as decimals.

As part of their learning, students created their own fraction walls by folding and cutting paper into equal parts. They then labelled each section with the matching fraction and decimal, helping them to see and explain the connection between the two.
