SLA

This term SLA has been fortunate to participate in Interschool sports. The AFL, Soccer and Netball A and B have all done very well and displayed excellent skills, teamwork and sportsmanship. These students should be congratulated on representing St Jospeh the Worker proudly. Here are some reflections from the students:

"I play netball for interschool  sports and I my position I play is WD (wing defense). It's really fun and I really enjoy playing netball with my team. I hope that we make it into finals and I think we will because we are a good team. We all get along I really love to win but I will always still show sportsmanship even if we win or lose." C.B

"I play netball for interschool sports. In netball I play GS-goal shooter and GA but mostly goal shooter. I find playing netball fun and love playing with my team. I am competitive when it comes to games, but I have fun, I also get to meet new people and make friends." E. I

"I really like playing soccer for Interschool sports (besides the fact that we lose each game) but other than that it's fun, I get to play with my friends and at half time we get to eat lollies so thats pretty good." L.C

In FLL SLA students have been researching natural disasters, examining the causes and effects, the human and environmental impacts and comparing how these disasters affect different regions around the world. To finish this project, students will create their own websites to share their findings on their chosen Natural Disaster.
