This Term, the MLA and Prep students joined to learn about 'The Long Walk'  charity. 

We looked at the importance of Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal people rallying together to work towards reconciliation. 

Students investigated the different colours of the Aboriginal flag and learnt of its significance. The black representing the aboriginal people, the red, the Earth (ochre) and the yellow, the sun. Students worked together to create their own mini flags. They then reflected on the importance of friendship, community and connection.
