Sports Day

A huge congratulations to all students, staff, and families for making this week’s Sports Day such a fabulous success! The day was filled with energy, enthusiasm, and incredible teamwork. It was wonderful to see our students giving their best in every activity, cheering for their peers, and displaying remarkable sportsmanship.
Your dedication and effort truly made the day memorable, showcasing the fantastic spirit that defines Modbury School P-6. Thank you to everyone who participated and supported the event—we couldn’t have done it without you!
Congratulations to WARTU for winning the House Shield and to KUULA for winning the Spirit Award.
A big thank you to Mr Venter for all his organisation and coordination in making Sports Day amazing. His meticulous planning and dedication ensured that every student had the opportunity to participate, compete, and have fun in a supportive and inclusive environment. Thank you, Mr Venter, for your passion and commitment to fostering a love of physical activity and teamwork in our school. Sports Day was a wonderful reminder of the importance of community spirit and the joy of working together.
A big thank you also goes to our wonderful Parents and Friends who cooked the bbq, sold drinks and gave up their time to support our school, along with the LJ Hooker Coffee Van who also generously supported our event. We were able to fundraise $846.70 for our school on the day. Thank you to everyone who supported us and made purchases on the day. Every bit makes a difference.
The Year 6 students also supported school spirit on the day by hosting a findraiser to support their upcoming Year 6 Graduation event. They sold Sports Day jelly cups and Sports Day hairspray in the morning to get everyone into the spirit of Sports Day. Well done to our Year 6 Team!
