Victorian School Music Festival
The Stage Band and Choir have both once again participated and had successful performances at VSMF towards the end of Term 3.
The Stage Band performed Blue Valentine, Chili Pepper Puree and I Could Write a book, for adjudicators at Hawthorn Town Hall on September 1st, achieving a Silver Award. The chief adjudicator commented that he loved the energy of the group, and encouraged them to continue having fun whilst playing together.
The Choir performed 3 contrasting songs at Salvation Army Box Hill on Tuesday September 8th – Hamilton Highlights, Migaloo and It’s Alright. They were congratulated on their entertaining and varied program, and were awarded a Bronze Award.
Thankyou to Mr Rex (Stage Band) and Ms Zilberman (Choir) who have put much time and effort into preparing these groups for VSMF.
We have just been notified that the Beginner Band will be performing at VSMF on Wednesday November 11th. Further information will be sent out soon.
