School Holiday Maintenance and Improvements
Our College has been a hive of activity over the school holidays, with a wide range of maintenance and improvement works undertaken to ensure our facilities remain safe, functional and welcoming for our students, staff and wider community.
Throughout the break, various projects were completed across the College, including painting, plumbing and roof repairs, the replacement of ceiling tiles, and works to replace retaining walls as well as a partial fence replacement along the boundary with our neighbours. These important jobs help maintain our buildings and grounds while ensuring our learning and working environments continue to meet the needs of our College community.
The LWB Centre has also received some special attention, with felt boards and picture runners installed in preparation for our Annual Art and Technology Show next week. These additions will provide an improved display space to showcase the creativity, innovation and talents of our students. Our grounds also benefited from some much-needed care, with C2A onsite undertaking mowing and other grounds maintenance to keep our outdoor areas looking their best for the return of students and staff.
In addition to these facilities upgrades, 12 smart TVs have been installed in various areas around the College, further enhancing our learning environments and supporting the integration of technology into teaching and learning. Looking ahead, a further 10 smart TVs have been budgeted for installation in 2027, continuing our commitment to improving the resources available to our students and staff.
A big thank you to Daryl, our maintenance manager, and everyone involved in coordinating and completing these works over the holiday period. This work ensures our College continues to be a well-maintained, attractive and engaging place to learn and work.
We look forward to seeing our students and staff enjoy these improvements throughout the term!
School Credits
Many families currently have small credits on their school accounts, and we would like to make sure these are used before any additional payments are made. Before consenting to or paying for excursions and other activities through Compass, please contact the College to check whether you have an available credit that can be applied to the cost. They don’t always appear as a payment option on Compass and we are happy to check your account to ensure that you are not paying more than necessary.
