Geography 

We will use atlases, globes, maps and Google Earth to locate and name the continents, oceans, equator, north and south poles, northern and southern hemispheres. Students will examine the scale of places, why places have an address and describe Australia’s location in relation to the world. 

We will explore how distance and accessibility influence how often people visit places, and for what purpose. Students will investigate connections that people, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders Peoples, have to local and global places.
