Every edition of Network News carries this Projects and Referrals chapter, and it works on a simple idea. If you have a buyer who is looking somewhere you do not operate, another member probably has the property. If you have a property that needs a wider buyer pool, the network is the pool.

Referral fees on the current listings sit between 20 and 50 per cent of the selling fee, so the numbers are worth a look before you tell a buyer you cannot help them.
