School Readiness Playgroup
Our first two School Readiness Playgroup sessions were incredibly exciting and enjoyable for our future students! It was wonderful to see the children building confidence, exploring our learning spaces and making new friends.
Session Details
- When: Every Friday during the school term
- Time: 9:00 AM – 10:10 AM
- Meeting Place: We meet in the school playground after morning drop off from 9:00 AM.
- Who: Children preparing for school next year
- Invitation: All are welcome to attend!
What We Do
- Social skills: Children practice sharing, taking turns and playing together.
- School routines: Kids learn to follow simple instructions and enjoy group storytime.
- Fun activities: We explore arts, crafts, music and outdoor play.

Celebrating Grandparents' Day!
Our school community shared a wonderful morning on Thursday, 6 August, celebrating our Grandparents' Day. We loved welcoming so many smiling faces into our classrooms and the Church to showcase our students' hard work and learning spaces. We gathered in the Church for a beautiful liturgy blessed by Fr Bill to celebrate the gift of grandparents. A huge thank you goes to all the wonderful grandparents, family members and special friends who visited us.
Year 12 Support Packs
A vital part of our Family & Faith program is building strong community relationships. For the past several years, STMM has supported Year 12 students at our local feeder high schools, Brigidine and Marcellin.
This year, we want to celebrate all graduating Year 12 students, not just those sitting the HSC exams. We want to honor everything they have achieved over their 13 years of schooling and wish them the very best for their futures. We invite you to sit with your child to write a note of congratulations and a prayer of support. We also ask each family to donate one fun pack of any treat or chocolate that is currently on special at your local grocery store. These treats will be divided up to give every student a snack while they finish their final school year.
