McKenzie Creek

Our students continue to settle into their new classrooms and we couldn't be prouder of how well they've adapted to the change in location. We have been making the most of it, with extra walks around the river and visits to City Oval.

In the weights room, students have been working hard and showing real commitment. Each student has identified a personal fitness goal and is working towards it. It's been wonderful to see them learning correct technique and developing the confidence to push themselves in healthy ways.

In Systems, students have been busy putting their problem-solving skills to the test through a range of group challenges. These activities are helping them build an understanding of mechanical elements and foundational engineering and physics concepts. They've also enjoyed exploring the auto shed.

In music, our students have been embracing the chance to experiment with a range of instruments. Some students have discovered a real passion for it, spending their own time writing lyrics and creating original songs.

• School uniforms are compulsory at McKenzie Creek, including school jackets or jumpers. Please reach out if you need support to purchase additional uniform items.
