Year 7 Girls Volleyball

Our Year 7 girls had a fantastic day of volleyball on Friday, representing Horsham College and taking on wimmera lutheran college, Stawell, STB's and Marian throughout the day.

It was a great opportunity for the girls to experience competitive volleyball, with plenty of exciting rallies, great teamwork and lots of learning along the way. Most importantly, every game was played in great spirits, with the girls showing plenty of respect for their opponents and enjoying the opportunity to compete.

There was a fantastic atmosphere throughout the day, with all teams getting stuck in, encouraging each other and showing the true spirit of school sport.

A huge well done to all of the girls who represented Horsham College. It was an awesome day of volleyball, played with great sportsmanship, plenty of smiles and a fantastic attitude from all teams involved.

Well done, girls!

Year 7 Boys Volleyball

Our Year 7 boys had an unreal day of volleyball on Friday, representing Horsham College with plenty of energy, enthusiasm and, most importantly, a lot of fun!

The boys embraced the day from start to finish, competing hard, supporting each other and enjoying every opportunity to get on the court. There was plenty of laughter, great rallies and some fantastic volleyball played throughout the day.

Our A Team had a terrific run, making it all the way through to the final and narrowly going down in a very close contest. While the result didn't quite go their way, the boys can be incredibly proud of the way they competed and represented Horsham College.

The biggest highlight of the day was seeing the boys enjoy themselves, play with great spirit and get behind their teammates. It was a fantastic day of school sport and a great introduction to volleyball for many of the boys.

A huge well done to all of our Year 7 boys — what an unreal day! 

North West Zone Clay Bird Shoot

On Thursday 13th August Milton E, Olly W, Mav K and Jackson P represented Horsham College at the North West Zone Clay Bird School Shoot at the Horsham Gun Club.

Congratulations to all the boys on your efforts it is great to see you being able to get a chance to participate in one of your chosen sports and a big thank you to the club for hosting this down the line Clay Bird Shoot.

• Milton Ellis - 17/20 (2nd Place overall in a Shoot Off)

• Jackson Potter - 14/20

• Maverick Kerr 10/20

• Olly Webster - 8/20

The next stage is the Victorian Clay Target School Student Championship State Titles which will be held in Echuca on 7th September. We expect Milton will qualify to compete in Echuca, confirmation from the organisers of this is expected soon.
