Student Wishing Tree

At the start of the week Lana in year 4 came up with an idea to improve the school.  She had noticed that one particular tree in the school yard hadn't seemed to bloom.  She thought it would be a wonderful idea to decorate the tree with some crochet flowers and then ask students tie their kindness wishes to it, turning it into a wishing tree.

What a fabulous idea and it has been so popular - just look at the photos!

Foundation Buddies Book Week Activities

This week Foundation students worked with their buddies to do a Native Savenger Hunt based on the book, 'The Paper Bark Tree Committee'.

Hi, my name is Tenny; I'm the volleyball captain this week and my name is Hayden; we played against St Johns on Friday the 21st of August. It was a tough game but, in the end, we lost 2-0 their way. Congratulations to Hayden for winning the MVP for great serving & sportsmanship. Thank you to Mr. Roast for refereeing and coaching our game.
