At St Francis Xavier School

Greetings St Francis Xavier Families,

This weekend our Year 6 students, Allira, Ashirin, Carmen, Eva, Gianni, Holly, Lincoln, Mackenzie and Marsarlina will receive the sacrament of Confirmation.  Fr Jude has been given special permission by the Archbishop to preside over the Confirmation mass with Fr Micheal assisting.  Each year the candidates undertake a research project about their chosen saint, culminating in a poster which is displayed in the church. I am extremely impressed with the quality and presentation of what has been produced by the 2025 group. And, as can always be expected by SFX students when out in the community, they were outstanding in their representation of  our school when participating in the recent Confirmation Reflection Day with the candidates from other schools.

YEAR 2 PRAYER BACKPACKS

In a previous newsletter I mentioned that the Year 2s are currently trialing take home Prayer Backpacks. I have already received some feedback from students who've been approaching me to let me know which activities they've been enjoying. Several have mentioned some family members have joined in with some of the activities which has been lovely to hear.
