STEM Scholarship awarded to Flic Thompson of Year 10.

During 2025 Flic Thompson has been involved in the Girls Leading Advanced Manufacturing (GLAM) program which enabled her to visit multiple high end manufacturing sites around Geelong and Melbourne, participate in workshops and work with a mentor. As a result of Flic’s efforts, she is the proud recipient of the Geelong Manufacturing Council’s STEM scholarship for 2026. Well done, Flic. 

We encourage all students in Year 10 next year to take up the opportunity to be involved in GLAM as well as the GFLOI (Geelong Future Leaders of Industry) program in 2026 to explore the exciting manufacturing and industrial opportunities in our local region.
