POSTCARD FROM INDONESIA #2

Year 10 Indonesian Trip 2025
Year 10 Indonesian students also experienced exploring the Indonesian countryside and villages, bicycling to a local market to purchase fresh produce and pedalling back to cook bakmi goreng and sayur lodeh. Throughout the year students fundraised for a local orphanage and were put to the challenge of arm wrestling, limbo and more. They marvelled at the wonders of Borobudur temple, with many reaching Nirvana on this 8th century Buddhist monument. A picnic lunch at the infamous Parangtritis beach where swimmers in green are taken by the Goddess of the Southern Seas. Students got to harvest peanuts as well as learn the gamelan and traditional dancing.
We would like to extend our thanks to our amazing guide Rifa for her kindness, humour and hard work to make this such a memorable experience.
Sampai tahun depan!
