The work for a strong swimming season starts now! Pre-season training is underway, and we encourage our QGSSSA and senior boys swimmers to get involved as we build towards 2027.

Every session is an opportunity to refine technique, develop fitness and strengthen the team. Whether you are returning to the squad or joining for the first time, your commitment and energy will help shape the season ahead.

Pool Training

  • Tuesday: 6:00am to 7:15am
  • Thursday: 6:00am to 7:15am

Dryland Training

Both pool sessions are followed by dryland training in the CC Sport Power Pavilion from 7:15am to 8:00am, supporting strength and conditioning for swimming.

We encourage swimmers to attend both mornings consistently. Bring your equipment, support your teammates and make these early sessions count. Let’s build a committed Clayfield squad ready to race in 2027!

All Schools Aquathlon

Congratulations to Emmalin, Winnie, Isla, Luca, Remi and Sophie, who represented Clayfield College at the All Schools Aquathlon at Kawana on the Sunshine Coast.

Competing across a range of age divisions, the six athletes put their training into practice with determined efforts in the swim and run. For some, it was their first experience competing at this level, which was a valuable opportunity to test themselves and learn from the occasion.

Special congratulations to Winnie Woodcroft, Emmalin Woodcroft and Isla Calder-Potts, who qualified for the State Championships in Darwin next year. Their selection is a well-earned reward for their commitment to training.
