2027 Senior Student Leaders

Our Wednesday assembly marked a special moment for our College community as we announced our 2027 Senior School Student Leaders.
Congratulations to Demi de Tournouer and Dohee Lee, our 2027 College Captains, and to every member of our 2027 leadership cohort. We are proud to see these students step forward to serve their College and help shape the year ahead.
In her Assembly address, Mrs Natasha Podoliak, Director of Senior School provided a timely reminder that leadership extends far beyond a title or badge and is something every student can demonstrate through the choices they make each day, how they treat others and the positive difference they make in the lives of those around them.
True leadership is about how you make people feel, how you show up for others and the difference you make, often in ways you may not even realise.
To those appointed today, remember that being chosen is a privilege, but what matters most is what you do with that privilege. Because leadership is not just about the moments when everyone is watching. It is about the choices you make each and every day, the way you treat others and the person you choose to be.
As the final single-sex graduating cohort of Clayfield College, the Class of 2027 holds a special place in our College history as we continue our transition to becoming fully co-educational. We look forward to seeing how all members of our 2027 Senior cohort embrace this moment and the legacy they create for future generations of Clayfield students to shine.
Our thanks are further extended to our outgoing College Captains, Lucija Wiggins and Talie’e Hampton, and all our 2026 Student Leaders for their contribution and leadership this year and for inspiring our community to ‘Be bold, Take risks in 2026.’
We look forward to formally inducting our 2027 leaders at Speech Night next month.
