Sports Academy 2027

The Heathmont Sports Academy has reached new heights in 2026 with our largest class to date exceeding 100 students. This is a great milestone that has been achieved and signals the success of the efforts we are putting forth to help student athletes learn how to achieve.

In 2026 we saw the re-introduction of the academy Soccer program, which is one of the largest, if not the largest sport in Australia, and we are so excited about where this will help in shaping our overall program for the future.

Our student athletes have achieved some great things this year at both the state and national levels and we are so proud of them all.

We have representatives from the following sports: Basketball, Baseball, AFL/AFLW, Athletics, Soccer, Mountain Biking, Gymnastics, and Field Hockey. We are one of the few school Sports Academies that can boast such a variety of sports.

Given the increase in athlete numbers each year and the flexibility to offer any sport with our unique Spot Coaching program, we look forward to growing more and providing Heathmont College students with a sporting pathway.
