Year 9 My Girl superpower

At the end of last term, the year 9 girls participated in a program run by Girl Guides Victoria. My Girl Superpower program was developed in response to Heathmont Secondary College’s requests to deliver a program which focuses on the following themes: 

a. enable a strong sense of self

b. build on this strong sense of self to examine interactions with peers, striving to connect with female peers in positive ways

The girls participated in different activities through out the day to connect with their peers and self reflect on their own super powers. They also had a chance to do some crafting activities such as mug painting. 

Some feedback from the girls was:

It was super fun and I enjoyed my time.

I enjoyed painting the mugs since it was so relaxing and chill.
