Foodbank's 2024 Hunger Report was released last week. They’ve been creating this report for over a decade now, and yet year on year, the data the Hunger Report reveals is still so hard to comprehend. ​​​​

Demand for their services rose from feeding 50 000 per day at the beginning of last year to 69000 this year. Every statistic is a person with a story-someone’s daughter, son, mother father etc unfortunately shame and stigma prevent people who genuinely need it from seeking help.

More than 1 in 3 Victorian households COULDN'T AFFORDTHE FOOD THEY NEEDED in the last year. Over 80% saw their food run out without having money to buy more.

Over HALF A MILLION Victorian households were severely impacted, which means regularly skipping meals or going days without eating.
