Core 24 Swimming Year 3-6 - Monday 28th October till Friday 1st November
Our Years 3-6 have been enjoying the swimming program this week. Tomorrow is the water safety session along with your bathers you will also need a long sleeve top and long pants for this session on 1st November.
Rememberance Day Ceremony - Monday 11th November
We will hold a Rememberance Day Ceremony on the Basketball Courts 10:45am - 11:05am. Our JSC are selling badges to raise money for the RSL at Lunchtimes.
Core 24 Swimming Prep - Year 2 - Monday 18th November till Friday 22nd November
Grade Prep, One and Two students will be attending a swimming program at Core24 on Monday 18/11/24 - Friday 22/11/24

Please insure your child has their bathers on under their school uniform when they arrive at school in the morning.Students will need to bring:
- Towel
- Bathers (to be worn underneath their school uniform)
- Underwear
- Goggles (optional)
- Plastic bag for wet clothes
- Sturdy swimming bag to carry their belongings to and from the swimming pool.
- ‘You can do it’ attitude.

Year 4 Melbourne Museum Excursion - Monday 25th November
Year Four students will be heading to The Melbourne Museum for an excursion as a celebration of their previous Inquiry Unit, ‘Earth’s surface changes over time as a result of natural processes and human activities’.Students will get to discover Earth’s geological processes in this engaging exhibition showcasing a collection of different minerals and rocks. They can immerse themselves in the power of Earth’s natural forces. Students can explore Earth's formation, the composition of layers within the Earth, rock formation and find a range of common rock types through the displays.
Year 4 Up Day Excursion Somerville Secondary College - Thursday 12th December
Grade 4 students will have the opportunity to visit Somerville Secondary College for their '4 UP Day'.This day is staffed and run by the secondary college students and teachers to give the Grade 4 students a taste of being at secondary school. These sessions are designed to be fun and interactive while letting students become comfortable in a secondary school setting. Students will be transported by bus to and from Somerville Secondary College which is kindly provided by the secondary college. There will also be a sausage sizzle on the day, also provided by the secondary college. There is no cost for this excursion, however permission is required. Students will need to bring a regular packed lunch to school.
Year 1 Lord Somers Incursion - Thursday 12th December
This is a cooperative learning program as a precursor to our Somerville Primary School camping program, preparing students for camp in later yearsStudents will engage in games run by Lord Somers Camp staff.
