Congratulations to Madeline Ching
Congratulationsto Madeleine Ching (11 Frew) on recently competing in the World Roller Derby Championships in Brisbane. Madeleine was a part of the Australian Junior Female Team, which placed third overall in the competition. Congratulations!
Congratulations to Henry Allan
Congratulations to Henry Allan (11 Jones) who has been selected to compete in the World Junior Swimming Championships in Romania. Henry will compete in three backstroke events and most likely some relay events.
This is following on from Henry recently achieving five gold medals and breaking multiple records in the Australian Age Championships in Brisbane.
He is one of three Victorians swimming as part of the Junior Dolphins team of 30. We wish Henry all the best for his upcoming competition. Congratulations, Henry!
Congratulations Matthew Wood and James Davenport!
Congratulations to Matthew Wood (5 Aherne) and James Davenport (5 Jenkin) who have been selected by Basketball Victoria for the 2025 U12 Country Jamboree from the 20-23 September.
The Jamboree is a key event in the Junior Basketball calendar, providing 120 boys and 120 girls with their first taste of the Victorian High Performance pathway. These athletes were chosen from more than 1,200 participants who took part in Under 12 Skill Days held across 10 regional centres - a testament to the depth of talent in country Victoria. Congratulations, Matthew and James!
Congratulations Skye McPartlane
Congratulations Skye McPartlane (8 Millward) who has been selected for a lead role, Tomika, in Bendigo Theatre Company's upcoming performance of School of Rock. Skye will be taking to the stage at Ulumbarra Theatre 18-21 September.
We highly encourage going along to support Skye and the other members of the Girton Grammar community involved in this performance. Congratulations, Skye!
