Careers Apprenticeships Australia

Apprenticeship Support Australia
We were fortunate to have Diana Bujku from Apprenticeship Support Australia visit our school to deliver an engaging presentation on career pathways, career choices and SBATs (School-Based Apprenticeships and Traineeships).
The session provided students with valuable insights into the many opportunities available to them, both during their time at school and after graduation. Diana’s presentation helped students feel more confident about their future, while giving them a clearer understanding of the practical steps they can take to achieve their career goals.
These important conversations make a real difference in preparing young people for the world of work and adult life. We thank Apprenticeship Support Australia for supporting our students as they explore their next steps.
Work Experience Highlight – Blake
Blake has successfully completed 10 weeks of work experience at Rivers of Yarrambat - garden and home centre, working alongside Amanda and Paul.
During his placement, Blake was involved in a variety of tasks including watering and caring for plants, sweeping, and keeping the centre tidy. He gained valuable knowledge about plants and developed skills in working outdoors.
On placement visits, Blake enthusiastically shared his favourite plants with staff, showcasing his growing passion for horticulture. As a token of appreciation for his hard work and dedication, Blake was gifted a beautiful orchid at the end of his placement.
