Harmony Week
Surf Coast Secondary College marked Harmony Week by focusing on inclusiveness, respect, and a sense of belonging for all students. The week provided an opportunity for students to come together, reflect on what it means to support one another, and strengthen a culture where everyone feels accepted.
In collaboration with Headspace, students engaged in activities that promoted understanding, connection, and positive relationships. With the generous support of Woolworths Torquay, helped bring students together, recognising that our diversity and brings together Australians from all different backgrounds including within the school community.
School Wellbeing Team
Welcome to the new school year! This is a great opportunity to introduce the Wellbeing Team and the support we offer. We’re here to help students feel safe, supported, and ready to learn, whether that’s through a quick check-in, individual support, group programs, or whole-school wellbeing activities. We work closely with students, families, and staff, so please reach out if you have any questions or concerns about your child’s wellbeing.
A new exciting initiative for 2026 is our Wellbeing Self-Referral form. This provides students a private and easy way to let us know they’d like to check in, ask for help, or talk about something that’s on their mind. Support is confidential, and a member of the Wellbeing Team will follow up with the student after the form is submitted.
Students can access this form via Compass under ‘School Favourites’ (the star icon). or via this link - Wellbeing Self Referral Form
