Principal Report

Welcome back to our final term of the year! It’s always wonderful to see the excitement as students return, ready for another busy and rewarding term. Term 4 is often one of the most vibrant times of the year, filled with learning, celebrations, and opportunities to reflect on how much our students have grown.

The Principal Team have been very impressed with the way our students have settled back into the routines of school with ease. Our staff do a great job in the first few days back each term revisiting rules and behaviour expectations and settling our students back into classroom routines. Term 4 is going to be filled with events and experiences for our students to enjoy.

Last week our 2026 Prep students began their schooling journey with our Leap into Learning Sessions beginning. There are lots of smiling faces visiting each week while learning the routines of school and becoming familiar with the surroundings in readiness for next year. We look forward to them being a part of our school community.

Dance Production rehearsals are in full swing, and there are dance moves galore visible across the school as students polish their routines and practise with great enthusiasm. It’s shaping up to be a fantastic performance that we know you will love.

Our Gr 4 students enjoyed The Briars Outdoor Education Facility in Mount Martha this week for a day of fun and adventure. The students challenged themselves, worked in teams and encouraged and supported each other when completing the following activities throughout the day:

  • Giant Swing

  • Leap of Faith

  • Flying Fox

  • Raft Making

  • Archery

  • Initiative activities

The Principal Team thoroughly enjoyed their visit to The Briars and were very impressed with our student’s behaviour, resilience and willingness to give things a go that took some of them out of their comfort zone.

Thanks to our Gr 4 teachers, Education Support Staff and parents who attended.

We have a number of special events ahead (The Colour Run, Remembrance Day Ceremony,

Dance Production, Prep – Gr 6 Maths Incursion) and we appreciate the continued support of our families in helping make each one a success.

Here’s to a fantastic Term 4!
