Year 12 Opportunities

Casper Tests for Medical Entry
Live online masterclass are on webinars on 7 June and 26 July.
The Casper test is a situational judgement test that assesses an applicant's personal and professional characteristics through open-ended questions. It's used by many universities, particularly for programs like medicine, dentistry, and education, to evaluate candidates beyond academic achievements. The test presents scenarios and asks applicants to explain their approach and reasoning. The test is currently being used as part of the Curtin University application criteria for their undergraduate medical program.
The Casper test is done IN ADDITION TO THE UCAT. Webinar starts at 11am Western Australian time. Register HERE.

Casper Test for Veterinary Medicine
Please make sure you select the Veterinary Medicine version of this test.
If you’re planning to apply for Veterinary Medicine in 2027, sitting the 2026 Casper test is an essential part of your application. Murdoch University requires all Veterinary Science applicants to complete the undergraduate Casper assessment, with 2026 test dates scheduled for:
- 14 May
- 21 June
Casper is an online situational judgement test that takes around 65–85 minutes and assesses qualities like communication, empathy, problem‑solving and resilience, attributes that are crucial for future veterinarians. You can only sit the test once per admissions cycle, so we strongly recommend registering early (at least three days before your chosen test date) to avoid missing out and ensure your application remains valid.

Curtin 2027 Excellence Scholarship
The Curtin Excellence Scholarship has been developed for students who have demonstrated academic excellence through their ATAR in 2026 and want to pursue study at Curtin University.
Application forms are not required; students apply by selecting an eligible Curtin degree through TISC as their first preference by the scholarship closing date.
Students who receive the StepUp bonus and therefore achieve the required ATAR will be eligible for this scholarship. Check the details HERE.
Predicted ATAR – Future estimates are inaccurate
The ATAR calculator on TISC’s website should not be used to predict your future ATAR. It is a general guide only.
TISC does not endorse any third parties that claim to calculate a predicted ATAR, and caution should be used in procuring any such service.
Adding together four scores based on raw subject scores does not give an accurate TEA and therefore can result in an incorrect outcome.
