This month sees a host of events and activities our Senior Students should jump at. We will be taking our Year 10s to the Career Expo. What else might interest you?

14–17: May Careers Expo

Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre

The Careers Expo is where students come to get ideas and advice about possible future pathways.

Our Year 10s will be making their way on the Friday, but Year 11 and 12 students are encouraged to go on the weekend too.

(The Expo will be closing at 3.30 pm on Sunday so that East Coast exhibitors can get home on Sunday night.) Find out more HERE.

17 May: Girls Programming Network – Learn to Code free workshop

The Girls Programming Network runs free, full-day workshops that teach high school girls and gender minorities in years 7 – 12 to code using Python.

18-22 May Law Week

Law week provides an opportunity to place a spotlight on issues affecting access to justice in the community. 

 

There are more lawyers trained each year than the total number of practising lawyers in Australia. That does not mean that you should not study law. It is a great degree for gaining an understanding of justice, connection and government.  Law Pathways to Many Careers

A law degree is a brilliant way to develop research, analytical, and critical thinking skills. Any job that requires you to think is a perfect place for a law graduate.
