Jenni Collins, former BSC student, meets Justice Kirby
Jenni Collins, a class of 2022 graduate and current Juris Doctor student at The University of Melbourne Law School, had the privilege of meeting Justice Kirby recently.
Kirby House is named after Justice Kirby, a retired justice of the High Court of Australia and advocate for LGBTQIA+ rights. Justice Kirby gave a very interesting and entertaining speech to the Melbourne Law School students, including extracts from his recently published book, “Law, Justice and Other Challenges”.
Jenni enjoyed Legal Studies while at BSC and was a member of Kirby house, so she was thrilled to meet Justice Kirby in person.
Alumni presentation- senior visual communication design
On April 29, we welcomed Sarina Ikin, a 2025 BSC graduate, back to speak with our current Visual Communication Design students about her Year 12 experience. Sarina shared valuable insights into managing the course, including study strategies, folio tips, and navigating the university application process.
Now studying Landscape Architecture at RMIT University, she also spoke about her pathway into the course, offering firsthand advice on applications and interviews. Her presentation was highly relevant and insightful for students currently undertaking the subject.
Thank you, Sarina, for giving your time and supporting our visual communication design students.
