Year 10 Health and PE

Exploring Lifelong Participation in Sport
This term, Year 10 students have been exploring the importance of lifelong participation in physical activity and discovering the many ways to stay active, healthy and connected through sport and exercise.
So far, students have experienced a variety of activities, starting with a high-intensity interval training (HIIT) session at Get Physical before slowing things down with a relaxing and mindful yoga session at Mulla Mulla. These experiences have allowed students to explore different styles of exercise and recognise that staying active can look different for everyone.
There is still plenty of excitement ahead, with a range of activities to come, including boxing, bike riding and water aerobics. We look forward to continuing to challenge students to step outside their comfort zones, try something new and discover activities they may enjoy well beyond their school years!
