St Philip's College
Year 9 Visual Arts students continue their learning on Country journey through a plein-air painting excursion at Emily Gap (Anthwerrke).
We had a wonderful time walking part of the trail to Jessie Gap, before setting up our painting spot for the day.
Following the storms in Alice Springs, we noticed the high-water levels and incredibly muddy waters! This did not stop our fearless artists from swimming through the water to experience the caterpillar rock paintings depicting the Yeperenye dreaming.
A huge thank you to Ms Butler, Head of Outdoor Education, who made this excursion possible!
