Amazing annual College Quiz Night

We had an amazing Quiz Night! It was a monster effort from the P&F team and all the volunteers on the night. A special thanks to our quizmaster supremo Ivan Dowding-Hopkins and also to our student helpers who welcomed guests, served food and beverages, sold raffle tickets and kept a close eye on the score (Scott). 

It was tightly contested with the Senior Leadership team beaten for the second time by those returnees. If they think they’re going to make it a hat-trick next year…

The pizzas were awesome! Thanks to our wonderful Hospitality and Food staff and the VET students. Oh, and they had a guest chef step in — Deputy Principal Daniel Lapolla, who made sure there were no pineapples within a 10km radius!

It was a wonderful College night, a great event for bringing our Community and Old Virgilians together. All up, there was $6,500 raised! Looking forward to next year already! 

Mary Rice Day

The Junior School P&F and the Senior School P&F are donating $1,000 each to the Edmund Rice Centre in Kibera, Nairobi.

We are happy to support this amazing Centre and know that any contribution will have a signifiant positive impact in supporting children with physical and intellectual disabilities who live in poverty in the Kibera slum.
