Italian

This week, our students enjoyed  playing bocce, one of Italy’s oldest and most loved traditional games.

Bocce dates back more than 2,000 years, with its roots in ancient Rome.

During our Italian classes, the students practiced how to gently roll the ball, aim for the pallina (the small target ball), and work together as a team. They practised strategy, accuracy, and patience.

I was so pleased to hear of how many families own a set of bocce balls.
