Student Shout Outs

Congratulations to the following students who have competed in sporting events over the last few weeks, also to all of our students who have participated in sports, performing arts or other events over the last few weeks who may not be mentioned in this edition.

 

 

Cooper McIntyre - Robbins

Tennis Grand Final - Seville verses Montrose.  Cooper and his team were runners up in their recent Grand Final.

 

Congratulations to Saints Sharks (Eden, Annabelle, Taylor, Aleisha, and Teegan in 1/2S)  won their grand final in basketball.

Saints Megalodons (Elijah, Blake, Liam, Spencer, and Monty in 1/2S) were the runner-up in their basketball grand final.  

Wessy Lynx (Annabelle 5/6T) were the runner-up in their basketball grand final.  

 

Parker Van der Vlugt

Congratulations to Parker who won the U11 Division 1 - MVP award 

Little Subbies; 

We are so proud of our Little Subbies for the way they have played in their first season of basketball, improving their skills on the court, but beyond that also the way they encourage each other, have shown resilience in playing older stronger teams, and never giving up. Well done girls!

Harry Bethune

Harry and his team UYBA Blue came runners up in their 11 & under boys Grand Final last Saturday after an undefeated season. They all played really well and were happy to have had such a great season!

Harper Billings

Congratulations to Harper, who has auditioned successfully for another role in a musical production. Harper will be playing the "Herald Reporter" in Masquerade Youth Production's performance of 'Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer Jr' from 20th - 22nd December. 

Don't forget you could also see Harper (and Ivy) in Winnie the Pooh Kids on Saturday 26th October.  

Ivy Bradley

Congratulations to Ivy and her Tap class who received an Honourable Mention for their dance at the AATBD Trophy Day.

Netball

Well done to Harry and Noah for winning their 13 and Under 

 

 Grand Final last Friday.

Basketball

Let's not forget our sporting Parents and Teachers as well.

 

Congratulations to Sensei Bawden and Mrs Traynor who won the Grand Final in the Over 25s Women's competition at Upper Yarra Basketball.

Congratulations also to Alyce, mother of Danica, Will and Charlee, who won the Best and Fairest award in the same division.
