What's Been Happening in Year 5

On Tuesday 5th and Thursday 7th of August, Year 5s visited the Melbourne Aquarium to explore Sea Creatures and learn about their habitat and adaptations for extreme survival. It was interesting to learn the various adaptations that Sea Creatures have and not all are the same. An amazing and fun filled day, enjoyed by all. 

What's Been Happening in Prep

Over the past few weeks, our students have had the opportunity to witness a truly special event: the hatching of eggs into adorable chicks! 

As part of our Inquiry unit, the Prep students have been learning about the life cycle of chickens, the science of incubation, and the importance of caring for living things. Our classroom was buzzing with anticipation when the first little cracks appeared on the eggs.  See below for some photos!
