Pyjama Day

Thank you to everyone who donated to our PJ Day fundraiser. We set a target of $1000 and raised $1042.60.   What a great effort by all.

Here are some of the ways our donation can help children in foster care.

We hope everyone enjoyed the day, you all looked great and also looked relaxed and comfortable, especially the staff.  We even saw a couple of our mums at assembly dressed in their pyjamas, so great to see the community become involved.

The school captains walked around the school and chose one or 2 winners per level for their cool PJ's, Oodies or those that went the little bit extra - the winners were:

Jakob Prep B

Aline Prep A

Yuki 1C

Lauren 2C

Emmanuel 3A

Enzo 3C

Aaron 4C

Sam 5C

Niamh 6A

Well done and we hope you all enjoy your prize!

Year 5’s Visit to the Aquarium

We arrived at the aquarium, and we observed the penguins while sharing facts about them with us. We got shown all kinds of animals, and we were allowed to touch shark eggs that had different shapes. We were also able to touch the back of a starfish. We saw a crocodile and learnt about how they are apex predators and barely move. We learnt that seahorses are the only species where males reproduce. They talked about penguins and their land and water temperatures. We even met Pesto the baby penguin. They had king penguins and Gen 2 penguins. They showed us different types of fish in a big tank.

We had lunch and got back on the bus; we had a great day.

Year 2’s Werribee Zoo Visit

When we arrived at the zoo, we had our snack. We saw the Meerkats first and then saw the Giraffes. We did a habitat heroes activity where we got to see wallabies, and we got to do some more activities. We had our lunch and then we went on the safari bus. On the Safari, we saw the rhinos and zebras. Our favourite animal was the giraffe and the rhinos.
