CHANGE TO THE SACRAMENT OF CONFIRMATION 

2025 Sacrament of Confirmation: Sunday 24th of August, 1.30pm @ Kolbe College

FEAST OF ST. MARY OF THE CROSS

Today - August 8th - is the feast day of Australia's first saint St. Mary of the Cross Mackillop. She was instrumental in creating an environment of education for Australia's most vulnerable. In honour of St. Mary of the Cross, we pray her prayer

God of compassion, God of all people, we praise you for your servant, Mary MacKillop, who gave her life to serve you in the poor and lonely.

As she is honoured in our world, may we continue to learn to share her vision.

Help us to recognise, as she did, that the poor of our time will hear the gospel in the way we serve them. Be with us as we strive to follow her and carry out our mission of service and care. Amen

2025 SACRAMENTS

Our Year 6 students are now in the final preparation phases of the Sacrament of Confirmation. Please notes the following dates for families who are apart of this Sacrament in August.

• Student Retreat Day: Tuesday 12th August
• Family Faith Night: Thursday 14th August @ 7pm
• Sign up & Presentation Weekend: 9th or 10th of August 2025 - Attend any of the Parish Masses.
• Sacrament Mass:  Sunday 24th August @ Kolbe College 1.30pm 

Outside of this preparation, the 2025 Sacramental registration is now closed. Thank you to our families who have taken this journey with us through the Sacraments of Reconciliation, First Holy Eucharist and Confirmation.

We look forward to beginning this process with you again in 2026.
