Sports Update
Todd Woodbridge Cup - Tennis
On Monday, August 18, our Stage 2 and 3 students had a fantastic time at the Todd Woodbridge Cup Tennis Tournament in Inverell. They showed great sportsmanship and had a blast on the court! A special shout-out goes to Theodore Clifton, who was a star player, moving between the Stage 2 and Stage 3 competitions all day. Thank you to all the parents who drove the students, and to Mr. Withers for organising and supervising this awesome event.
Polding Athletics Carnival
Let's all cheer on Ivy Watson! She's competing in the Polding Athletics Carnival on Friday, September 12th, in Glendale. Ivy will be showing off her skills in Discus and Long Jump, events she's been training for months. We wish her all the best and hope she has a great time at the competition!
Netball NSW Regional Finals
Our Blue netball team will compete in the Netball NSW Regional Finals in Tamworth on Thursday the 11th September. These students have been training in preparation for this event and we wish them all the best. Thank you to Kristen Bailey for your time in helping to train our students.
Rugby Union Clinics
Our students are getting a crash course in rugby over the next four weeks! Steph Lennon, the Development Officer for Central North and New England Rugby Union, and her team are here for four special training sessions. We're grateful to Steph and her team for traveling to our school to teach our students the sport.
