Annual Improvement Plan
At St Joseph’s, our Annual Improvement Plan is guided by three key pillars:
These pillars shape the way we live out our mission and ensure that every student is supported to grow in faith, learning and wellbeing.
Last Friday, during our whole staff professional learning day, we engaged deeply with this work, focusing on how we can better understand and support the learning and wellbeing of boys. This professional learning was closely underpinned by our Living Well, Learning Well framework, which calls us to show a universal and unconditional positive regard for all young people. The day built on the weekly professional learning that takes place each Wednesday afternoon, where our staff come together to strengthen practice, collaborate and grow as a team.
Professional learning is also vital for leaders. Next week, I will travel to Toowoomba to shadow another principal as part of the Keystones Leadership Program. This experience will provide valuable insights into leadership practice and allow me to continue to grow as a leader.
Together, these opportunities ensure that as a staff team we continue to grow in skill, knowledge and faith, so that we can support every young person to thrive at St Joseph’s.
Your Feedback Matters: Annual School Survey
This week, parents should have received an invitation to participate in our Annual School Survey. This important survey seeks feedback from our students (Years 4-6), staff and especially our families.
Your feedback is highly valued and helps shape our school’s direction, celebrating what’s working well and identifying areas for growth. We appreciate as many families as possible contributing to this survey.
May God bless you and your family.
