Fun Day: Our senior students enjoyed another successful Monday Fun Day, with our student leaders hosting Family Feud. There were plenty of laughs and a great sense of fun throughout the event! A special shoutout to our Terra House Captain, Ayden Lagana, for his fantastic role as Steve Harvey.
Careers Expo: On Tuesday 31 March, our Careers Leading Teacher, Dean Malcolm, organised a fantastic Careers Expo for our senior students. A wide range of providers attended, offering valuable insights into courses and scholarships. Thank you to La Trobe University, RMIT, Swinburne, ACU, Victoria University, the University of Melbourne, Monash University, Melbourne Polytechnic, Kangan Institute, Collarts, Carlton College and AGA for their time and support.
IWD Events: Some of our student leaders attended an International Women’s Day event hosted at Mill Park Secondary College. It was a wonderful morning tea and a great opportunity to connect with student leaders from other schools.
In addition, students attended a luncheon at Parliament hosted by Bronwyn Halfpenny and Lily D’Ambrosio. They also had the opportunity to observe parliamentary question time from the chamber gallery. This was an exciting experience, allowing students to engage with their local State Members of Parliament and celebrate this year’s IWD theme, Balance the Scales.
Cans for Change: Thank you to our school community for getting involved with Cans for Change. We donated 1800 cans!!
Congratulations to Aeris for the most donated cans (707) Well done to our school leaders for a great initiative!
Medical Certificates: A reminder to our Year 11 and Year 12 students that medical certificates or other relevant documentation must be submitted upon their return to school. For SACs and SATs, this documentation must be provided within three days of returning in order for the assessment to be rescheduled.
